Starting Nursery at Hillcroft Primary School marks the beginning of an exciting journey!
Due to growing demand from our families and local community, we now offer funded places for children from the age of 2.
From the moment your child joins us, our dedicated Nursery team works closely to help them settle in, explore their interests, make friends and discover new and exciting things — all while leaving each day with a smile!
The strong foundations we build in Nursery are key to nurturing a love of learning and preparing children for a confident start in Reception.
We provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment, with vibrant indoor and outdoor areas. Through play-based learning, children are encouraged to develop their independence and a wide range of skills.
Our Nursery is an integral part of our school and is led by our Early Years Lead, Mrs Heaton, who also teaches in our 3–4 year old room. Our 2 year old room leader, Mrs Cooper-Beirne, is a long standing member of our Hillcroft team and passionate about giving children the best start.
We are open during term time, with start and finish times designed to support families with children in both Nursery and the main school.
