Health Committee, led by Mr Fuhrmann

Encouraging our children to adopt a healthy lifestyle is of paramount importance at Hillcroft Primary School. We are committed to encouraging and developing positive attitudes towards health and well-being through an engaging curriculum. 

Through our P.E, Outdoor Learning, PSHE, D.T. curriculums, our Pupil Parliament and our use of the Thrive approach, we ensure, as a community, that children are nurtured to have a healthy approach to all aspects of their life and development.   

Our Health Committee and Healthy Schools’ Ambassadors are pivotal for this, and this year we are very happy to announce that we have achieved our Surrey Healthy Schools’ Award.

For the year 2023 - 24 the Health Committee are further promoted a deep understanding of how to live a healthy lifestyle for all pupils
